Beginning Learners DaycareMichelle

  • 9:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday (Open at 6:30am; close at 6:00pm; before & after care available; 10 hour maximum/day)
  • Ages 3-5 (Must be potty trained)
  • A preschool component is included as part of the day for Beginning Learners Daycare from 9:15-11:25
    •  Beginning sounds, rhyming, recognizing numbers 1-20, writing their names, the alphabet, and numbers
    • Play-based, faith-based, and STEAM focused curriculum
  • Library visits twice a month
  • Music classes twice a month
  • Snacks are offered twice a day and lunch is catered by Paisano’s in Elburn.
  • Rest time from 12:30-2:30
  • Fall/Spring session from September – May; Summer session from June-August

Preschool

  • Ages 3-4 (Must be potty trained)
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:45am – 11:15 am

  • Curriculum is play-based, faith-based, and incorporates STEAM concepts.
  • Library visits and Music classes twice a month

  • Includes “Discovery Time”, Group Time, Large and Small Motor Play
  • Follow Kaneland School District 302’s calendar.  Preschool is not in session when Kaneland schools are closed.*

Pre-Kindergarten

  • Ages 4-5 or the year prior to entering KindergartenWeb Blubber
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:15pm – 3:00pm
  • Curriculum is play based, faith based, and incorporates STEAM concepts
  • Library visits and Music classes twice a month
  • Focus on Kindergarten readiness skills including sight words, patterns and sequences, rhyming, simple story telling, “adding to” and “taking away”
  • Includes “Discovery Time”, Group Time, Large and Small Motor Play
  • Follow Kaneland School District 302’s calendar. PreK is not is session when Kaneland schools are closed.*

Before/After Care for K-5th (during the school year)

  • School Aged Children in K – 5th gradesMiss Jeanette
  • Bus transportation is provided by District 302 to and from Blackberry Creek Elementary students only. This includes after “full day” Kindergarten.
  • Homework help and reading time is offered.
  • Care is also offered for a full day when KCCC is open and Kaneland schools are closed including Spring Break.*

*KCCC will be closed on Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, the full week prior to New Year’s Day for Christmas break, the day after New Year’s,  Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, and the 4th of July.

  • Participate in Vacation Bible School through Kaneville United Methodist Church (July 31-August 4)
  • Daily “chill time”
  • Lunch catered by Paisano’s
  • Experiments, art projects, games, crafts, and more!

*Drop-In Care

  • This is a special service offered to exclusively to families enrolled at KCCC!  This is for families who do not need regular schedules or will not need more than 8 days per month of care.
  • Available from 6:30am – 6:00pm Monday thru Friday for the School Year Session and the Summer Session; Enrollment fees apply per child/session.
  • Super helpful for days when your child is not on the schedule, on some Kaneland days off from school, or if you just need to run errands or do some shopping!
  • The children will either join in the fun games/activities happening in either the Beginning Learners Daycare or School-Age Care (before & after school, Kaneland days off during the school year, and summer) classrooms for the day.
  • Payment for each day of drop-in care is due upon arrival.  We prefer at least a 24 hour notice.  Verbal confirmation from the Director or the Office Staff to check availability of space is required prior to the drop-in.
